Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE®) is simple, body-oriented exercises that can help our body to release deep muscular stress patterns and tension. The exercise was created by Dr. David Berceli.
TRE® safely activates our natural reflex mechanism of shaking that releases the tension in our body. TRE® process helps to calm the nervous system and bring our body to a state of balance and a healthy baseline.
TRE® session begins with a few easy sets of deep muscle stretching in various body centres. The deep muscle stretches activate the psoas muscles to safely experience the neurogenic tremors in a facilitated environment.
Once learned TRE® for a few sessions with Charlene, the person can practise TRE® at home as part of the self-care plan.
TRE® induces a relaxed state of mind and relaxed body, we can then experience lesser conflict with others.
