What happens after the 30 days?
Your account stays open with your True DNA-Archetype, your traits and all five Bio-Attributes, and the marketplace keeps matching products to you. The AI Genie, your Goal Plans and Bio-Plans from our Partners need a paid plan: Gen 11, Gen 22 or Gen 88.
How do the discount vouchers work?
Gen 22 gives you S$10 in discount vouchers each month and Gen 88 gives you S$20. Use them on any marketplace purchase to offset up to 50% of the listed price, and you pay the rest.
Does the Bio-Profile Kit promo include the vouchers?
No. The kit on special promo is a one-time purchase and comes with no discount vouchers. The S$20 in vouchers each month is part of the Gen 88 plan.
Do I need a DNA test?
Only if you do not have a report yet. Gen 88 includes the Bio-Profile Kit. On every other plan you upload a report you already have.
How much does a DNA test cost?
Gen 88 includes a DNA test with the Bio-Profile Kit. You can also buy one of the three DNA tests we have vetted on its own, from S$698, and upload the results to any plan.
Can I pay for a DNA test in instalments?
Yes. 6 and 12 month instalment plans are offered at checkout by licensed third-party providers, who set their own terms and fees. Another way to spread the cost is the Bio-Profile Kit: it is included with Gen 88 at S$88 a month, or you can buy it on its own on special promo.
How long do results take?
The kit is a saliva test: spit into the tube, seal it and post it back. Once the lab has your sample, results take 3 to 5 weeks depending on the test, and they sync into your Bio-Profile when ready. If you already have a report, upload it and your Bio-Profile is ready in under 5 minutes.
Will I need another DNA test later?
No. Your DNA does not change, so one test lasts a lifetime, as long as it covers the traits you want.
Can I get a refund on a DNA test?
Once your sample reaches the lab and processing starts, a refund is not available, because the lab cost has been spent. If your sample turns out to be unusable, you get a replacement kit at no cost.
Is my DNA data safe?
Yes. We keep your report and the trait data we read from it. The raw sequencing files stay with the lab. Your data is encrypted, handled under Singapore's PDPA and ISO/IEC 27001, and never sold. You can download or delete it at any time.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can move between plans or cancel from your account at any time.
Which currency are the prices in?
All prices are in Singapore dollars and include GST where it applies.
Which pathway is right for my brand?
Sell on Marketplace if you already sell wellness products or services and want customers matched to you. Launch Online Store if you have no online sales system yet. Become a Licensee if you want to run your own DNA-wellness practice: sell Bio-Profile Kits, deliver Bio-Plans and recruit vendors in your market.
What is the marketplace?
Our online shop at connectingdna.sg, where customers find products and services that fit their DNA. Brands and providers that list there are our vendors.
What does matched by DNA traits mean?
Each customer has a Bio-Profile built from their DNA. The marketplace shows them the listings that fit their traits, so the people who reach you already suit what you sell.
Do my products need to be DNA-based?
No. Any quality health, wellness or lifestyle brand can list. The DNA matching is done by the marketplace, which shows your listing to the customers whose traits fit it. When you are ready to go further, Bio-Plans let you build on a customer's DNA.
What is a dual storefront?
Your listing on the marketplace plus an online store of your own, in your brand, built by us. Customers can buy in either place, and one dashboard sits behind both.
What is the CRM dashboard?
One screen for your orders, customers and enquiries. Every path includes it, and it covers your own store as well as your listings.
What does it cost to get listed?
A one-time setup fee of S$250. It covers your listings on the marketplace, a CRM dashboard for orders and customers, and 30 days of onboarding and customer service support. There is no monthly fee.
What commission do you take?
15% on products and 20% on services sold through the marketplace, on every pathway. Sales through your own online store are not charged a marketplace commission.
When do I get paid for a sale?
Funds from each sale are held for 30 days under our customer protection programme, then paid out to your bank account. The hold starts once a service is fulfilled or a product is shipped with a tracking number.
Who creates my listing?
You do. You supply the visuals, the copy and any product claims, and you stay responsible for them. Our team reviews each listing before it goes live, checks it against local laws and advises on what will sell. We may make small edits, or turn down a listing that does not meet the standard. The review is advice, on a best-effort basis, with no fixed timeline. Content written and designed for you is part of the Launch Online Store pathway, or can be quoted on its own.
What does the listing review look for?
Three things. That your content fits the local rules for non-clinical wellness. That your copy is clear, sells and can be found in search. That your visuals and tone show your brand well. We tell you what to change, and a listing that falls short is not published until it does.
Who is responsible for what I sell?
You are. You answer for your products and services, including any legal dispute, customer complaint or misrepresentation that comes from them, and you agree to cover ConnectingDNA against claims that arise from them. We run the platform, the payments and the customer protection programme.
Who owns my customer data?
Your customer relationships are yours. A customer's DNA data stays with the testing lab and with the customer, and you see their traits only when they consent. You may not export, sell or reuse their data beyond serving them.
What does an online store cost?
A one-time fee from S$4K. The fee depends on the scope of your build and goes up to S$6K. It includes your listings on the marketplace, your own e-commerce store, landing pages, SEO support, a dedicated account manager and a set number of Bio-Plans. Your quote confirms the fee before you pay.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. The online store fee can be paid over 6 or 12 months.
Can I start with a listing and upgrade later?
Yes. Start with Sell on Marketplace and move to Launch Online Store when you are ready. Your listings and CRM dashboard stay as they are, and the store is built on top of them.
What does a licence cost?
The licence fee is one-time and set for each licensee, based on your market, your network and the scope you take on. There is no annual fee and no royalty, so you keep what you earn. We discuss the fee with you and set it out in writing.
Do I need to be a vendor to become a licensee?
No. A licensee is a trained partner who runs a DNA-wellness practice in their own market: you sell Bio-Profile Kits, deliver Bio-Plans to your clients and recruit vendors, and you earn a recurring share as your clients renew. You can also list on the marketplace or launch a store, and you pay the vendor fees and commission only if you do.
Can I sell Bio-Profile Kits myself?
Yes, as a licensee. You sell the kits in your market and we handle the stock and shipping, so there is nothing to buy up front. Vendors on the other two pathways sell their own products and services.
Can I offer Bio-Plans to my customers?
Yes, on every pathway. A Bio-Plan is a 3 to 6 month plan built on a customer's DNA. On the listing pathway each Bio-Plan is charged as you sell it. The online store pathway includes a set number. A licensee delivers Bio-Plans as a DNA-Trained Partner, with a seat on our DNA coaching certification programme.
Is ConnectingDNA a DNA testing company?
No. We are an online marketplace that connects wellness brands and providers to customers using DNA insights. The marketplace matches your listings to each customer's DNA traits.
